Common questions
Quick answers
Where is my data stored?
Inspectly stores records and files locally in the app on your device. The developer does not have an online copy and cannot recover deleted records.
How do I move Inspectly to another device?
In Inspectly Settings, create a backup and save it somewhere you control. On the other device, choose Restore Backup. Restore Purchases separately so Apple can recheck Premium for the Apple Account used to buy it.
How do I manage or cancel Premium?
Open Inspectly Settings and choose Manage Subscription, or manage subscriptions from your Apple Account settings. Deleting Inspectly does not cancel an active subscription. You can also open Apple's subscription management page.
Why is a feature locked?
The Free plan includes one property and up to five photos or documents in total. Inspectly Premium unlocks unlimited properties and media, final PDF reports, recurring tasks, valuation history, expenses and report customisation. Use Restore Purchases if you already subscribed with the current Apple Account.
How do I delete my data?
Delete a property in Inspectly to remove its related local records and files. Removing Inspectly deletes its local app container, but not copies you exported or copies retained in a device backup. There is no online Inspectly account to delete.
Can support recover a deleted record?
No. Inspectly has no developer-hosted copy of your local records. If you created an Inspectly backup before deletion, you can restore that backup from Settings.
What should I include in a support email?
Include your app version, device model, iOS or iPadOS version, the action you were taking and what you expected to happen. Remove personal or confidential information from screenshots and attachments whenever possible.
